MAKING THE CASE
For us, life is driven by value. Believing in something is what’s important, less whether the belief is true or not. Making the case on behalf of your values makes a difference to the overall even if only in a small way. If more people share the values the effect is more. If you’re confident of your case and you care enough, make that argument, make a difference.
SHAM
Relationship is an art. Like with all arts, some just have the gift, others have to work at accomplishing it. In life, few have it and even fewer would know where to begin to work at it. Consequence: most relationships are a sham. Take away selfish interest and neediness and there’s not much, if anything, left. This is the sorry tale of humans trying to connect with each other.
BIOLOGICAL IMPERATIVE
Overall, my prejudice is with women, but when it comes to relationship they are no better at it generally than men. They may think they are and they may value it higher but that doesn’t make them better at doing it. Their agenda is likely to be every bit as much determined by a biological imperative. A woman with a mothering agenda is only a little better morally than a man who is a sexual predator.
