Leaders
Leaders

It’s apparent that the majority of people are followers rather than leaders. They have minimal vision beyond partiality and base interests. Most quite easily adapt to situations whatever they might be even if they are far from initially agreeable to them. They are comfortable enough about entering a workplace for example and going along with the values and attitudes already laid down.
For good or for bad, for reasons of flawed character or whatever, I have not been up for that. Although my participation skills are okay and I have in the past been able to merge successfully enough with my environment there is always a reluctance. Hence I’ve been pushed to find ways of working that invoke alternatives like leadership, vision, setting the tone, laying out objectives etc.
This is fine as people need a beaten track as a way of orientating themselves and someone has to beat that track. But the balance of one type with the other is so heavily weighted - one leader for a thousand followers. When you then single out bad or corrupt leaders or those of dubious motives then the right kind are a rare entity indeed.
