How unattractive is Jordan? What a horrible specimen of contemporary womanhood she is. She has a book out just now which I understand is being widely read with interest. She is apparently held up as some kind of feminist icon. Has it really got that bad?
I have always rather liked women who trade on their sexuality. I’ve found it interesting to see what lies behind the show. Although they are seldom intellectual, there is more often than not something seductive in their essence. Sometimes it’s a certain warmth. It might be a sultriness that invites challenge. The fabulous Denise van Outen is exemplary. Under the act is a soulful and gifted lady I suspect.
For me the person behind the sexuality, un-tarted, is more sexy than the put-on. Not so with Jordan. It would be nice if Katy Price turned out interesting and attractive in the manner I’ve described. But she doesn’t. If anything Jordan is an improvement on Katy. Katy is unattractive in the extreme, almost ugly, dead-eyed and sexless. The way she speaks, the things she says, the look, she is diminished as herself. The persona isn’t great. The person behind it even less so.
