The demons that lurk within are as damaging to others as they are to the individual who harbours them.
There’s a certain wisdom that to smoke out the demons is an integral part of psychological growth and a developed spirituality. In my experience smoking them out is not the same as exorcising them. They can still hang around after being exposed. However the fact that they might be visible is the thing. When visible from your own perspective they tend to be less damaging to others. You are aware of them and not as readily disposed to act out of them.
When the demons are submerged layers deep they can leap out disguised as different things and latch on to other people. It is in this way that damage is done to others by these impacted layers of dark matter, demons to give them their mythological handle. They are psychological entities which in their energised form manifest as errant behaviour and with consequent ill effect. They are generally not good. They need to be exposed and reckoned with, not buried, prime for projection.
