There is something almost fascist about the way people like to turn music into something argumentative. I really can't be bothered with that, being hell-bent on asserting that this is better than that. It’s always what the fascists like that is the good stuff and what they don't like that isn't. They're not satisfied with just the liking of something and being done with it.

With this, the phenomenon of music with its amazing capacity for bringing people together is reduced to something divisive by the arrogance of those who think that their impressions are more true, more authentic, more qualitative, more essential and more cool than everyone else's. They are the little Hitlers of the art-world. They should fuck off.
